SONAMURA, Feb 17 (TIWN): Heavy tensions among CPI-M candidate Shyamal Chakraborty and BJP candidate Subal Bhowmik are going on after CPI-M alleged that Subal Bhaumik broke model code of conduct and meeting locals openly with his party workers.

The issue raised after BJP candidate Subal Bhaumik went to a BJP activist’s house. Whereas CPI-M claimed that Subal Bhaumik went to Uttam Das’s house to exchange cash to woo local voters, Subal Bhaumik said that he just went to meet Uttam Das who has fallen sick.

Subal Bhaumik also said that he took permission from police but CPI-M activists had attacked them with the direction of Shyamal Chakraborty.

However, CPI-M have denied the allegation totally.
