AGARTALA, Feb 15 (TIWN): During his visit in poll-bound Tripura, Uttarakhand Ex Chief Minister Harish Rawat has brought serious allegation against the ruling (at Centre) BJP Govt for 'killing' armies led by enemies. Rawat claimed that under the Modi Govt the highest numbers of armies are being killed by Pakistani militants, whereas in last 70 years the situation never turned such serious. Addressing a press meet at Agartala Congress Headquarter, Rawat said, “It takes at least 6 months to prepare an army, but under the BJP govt everyday our armies are killed. The Govt is total failure to secure armies. Also, the Kashmir problem has increased a lot in last 4 years".
Talking about other issues, Rawat said, “There are 19 lakh vacant posts under Army Para-Military and Banks but even after failed to fulfill the 2 crores of jobs per year, the Modi Govt is not fulfilling the vacancies”.
“BJP is trying to buy voters. At Manipur and Uttar Pradesh also they did the same and now their target is Tripura”, said Rawat.
Hitting the Left Govt of Tripura, Rawat said, “The CPI-M in Tripura is also ruling for 25 years but their promises are also proven as empty promises. It’s only Congress Party which is a better alternative. Above 60 % people in Tripura are living below poverty lines, registered unemployed youths numbers is now 7.5 lakhs”, said Rawat.
“Tripura has a golden opportunity that Congress is there to develop the state by utilizing its all potentialities and grow the economy”, added Raway.
“Both the Govt at Centre and state are not working well, whereas during UPA Era the unemployment rate were much less”, he said.
