'Rs. 11,000 crores road construction in next 2 years, after BJP comes in power' : Gadkari

AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari today while addressing in a public rally said that if BJP comes in power Rs. 11,000 crores road construction will take place in next two years in Northeast state Tripura.
"Tripura roads are left in so pathetic shape that people are unable to travel through bikes and vehicles at safe", added Gadkari.
"However, under the Modi Govt the road-maps across country are developing a lot. All the highways are being constructed are under my dept. I promise you after BJP comes in power Rs. 11,000 crores road construction will take place in next 2 years", he added.
Nitin Jairam Gadkari; is an Indian politician and the current Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation in the Government of India is visiting in left ruled Tripura, one week ahead of the crucial Assembly Election.
