AGARTALA, Feb 10 (TIWN): After Mamata Banerjee expelled Mukul Roy from her Trinamool party, he joined BJP even though Roy’s connection with BJP was from long back.
Chit fund allegations against CPI-M remained just as allegations but ex-TMC leader Mukul Roy’s chit fund related issues have been haunting him for a long time before he joined BJP.
Mukul Roy an accused in the Narada sting case and Shardha chit fund scam in Bengal had joined BJP after Trinamool expelled him for 6 years in the last year.
However, today the former TMC leader Mukul Roy has campaigned for the Tripura BJP at Kamalasagar constituency, even though it was not before a year that Mukul Roy was talking against BJP state president Biplab Deb when he was in Trinamool.
But this time, Mukul Roy has made his place in BJP’s star campaigning and will be addressing few rallies here.
