AGARTALA, Feb 10 (TIWN): The Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will release Tripura BJP’s election manifesto tomorrow via a press conference. The Election Manifesto has been titled as ‘Vision Document’ which will be release tomorrow before media by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Also the programme to be live telecasted in BJP's social media page. ‘The Finance Minister also will address in a seminar of intellectuals in the afternoon’, said BJP National Genera Secretary Ram Madhav. On the same day BJP National President Amit Shah and Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari will arrive by tomorrow to campaign for Tripura in two day long visit. However, Jaitley will not address in any public rally according to the schedule.
Earlier, on the background of Jaitley’s arrival Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "As the allocations for Tripura are done by the Central Govt, so it will appeal the mass much if the Union Minister release BJP’s vision document. As 7th Pay Commission will be allocated by the Central Govt, so the party's promises if done by the Union Finance Minister, it will be more appropriate".
Arun Jaitley is an Indian politician and Advocate, who is the current Finance Minister and Minister of Corporate Affairs under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Tripura Election is on February 18, whereas the poll result will be announced on March 3rd. Along with Tripura Nagaland and Meghalaya states of Northeast will be polling on February 27 whereas the result to be out on the same day of Tripura Election result i.e. on March 3rd.
