AGARTALA, Feb 9 (TIWN): Fueling CPI-M's Muslim vote banks, few Congress leaders have joined CPI-M today alleging ‘Congress and BJP having a secret alliance’ and accusing ‘both parties for being involved in communal violence’.

‘Like BJP, party Congress is also supporting majority religious people. Thus, when we saw that Congress and BJP both are playing politics with communalism and CPI-M is fighting for secularism, we have decided to join CPI-M’, said a newly joined CPI-M member from Congress party Loknath Bardhan.

 “Congress and BJP came closer in a financial corruption from an NGO at Deoghar and as a result Congress has announced candidates names for Tripura in such a manner who can never win the election. Some of Congress candidates are Phensedyl businessmen”, he said.

“Why there is no Minority opposition leader in Congress just like BJP and minority means Muslims here”, Bardhan added.
