AGARTALA, Feb 9 (TIWN): Being on the verge of losing state govt employees vote banks in Assembly Election of February 18, CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar after PM Modi’s departure from Tripura claimed that BJP Govt will not give 7th Pay Commission to its Govt employees even after coming in power. “7th pay commission’s promise is totally a lie. No 7th Pay Commission was implemented in Manipur and the employees are going in strike at the end of February. 7th Pay Commission was also not implemented in Maharastra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradeshâ€. “Whereas in many BJP ruled states 7th Pay Commission has not been implemented, Modi during his visit, promised that BJP will give 7th Pay Commission in Tripura. This is nothing but Jumlaâ€, said Dhar. "As BJP has fooled other states, the same will be done in Tripura too", added Dhar.
Even though allegation raised against CPI-M for never requesting central govt for 7th Pay Commission’s implementations, Bijan Dhar further said, “What have we told the Central Govt ? We asked when you are implementing 7th Pay Commission for central employees, its affect comes to states and thus it’s the duty of the central govt to implement 7th pay commission in states by funding the states”.
“The Central Govt never gave 7th Pay Commission’s funds to Tripura. Now, if they think that BJP will never come in power and thus let’s promise whatever we can. But from the Prime Minister such words are not expected, said Dhar.
