AGARTALA, Feb 8 (TIWN): Reacting over PM Modi’s visit and speech today, CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar raised question why PM Modi was silent on Hindu-Muslim tension rows when various BJP leaders are preaching anti-Muslim talks.

“Why there was no mention about Muslims when preaching in Muslim populated areas as Sonamura ? Both majority and minority people wanted to know about his stand on this issue ?”, said Dhar.

“The 2^nd matter which came in our notice is that both Narendra Modi and IPFT Chief Narendra Debbarma remained silent on the separate state issue. As a result it’s clear that BJP and IPFT will divide Tripura”, said Bijan Dhar.

“The Prime Minister who was claiming that instead of Manik, he will give Hira to Tripura must not forget that at Gujarat after demonetization above 5 lakhs of youths who were engaged in Diamond related works have become unemployed. How can he bring Hira here ?”, added Dhar.
