AGARTALA, Feb 8 (TIWN): After the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Tripura, Assam Congress leader Sushmita Dev (daughter of former MP in Assam Santosh Deb) said today in a press conference targeting Himanta Biswa Sarma, “Himanta Biswa Sarma is a chit fund scamster. How one can trust the scamster in BJP’s row ?”

“Especially when it comes about BJP’s alliance with IPFT and one-Tripura dialogues of Himanta Biswa Sarma, I like to mention that in case of Assam also they did the same. But till the Congress Govt was there, no attack upon the Benglais could be taken place but as soon as they came in power then Himanta and his mates took the charge of anti-Bengali move”, added Dev.

"Who knows secretly they have promised about Tipraland already", added Dev.

In a separate programme, Assam Congress Ex-CM Tarun Gogoi said, “Anyhow we need to stop the BJP to come in power. BJP can’t be trusted. First they occupied Delhi, then Assam but they must not enter Tripura”.
