AGARTALA, Feb 6 (TIWN): The CPI-M has lodged complaint with Election Commission alleging that the "VVPATs are faulty", demanded proper verification of the matter.
In the 1st issue was Bijan Dhar said, “Across Tripura, as per election commission’s instruction VVPAT trainings are going on. In at 41-Ampinagar 47-No booth (SB School, West Malbasa) on last 3rd February the VVPAT trainers found the machine was faulty and maximum votes are going for BJP. People at there have come in massive protest and the machine was replaced”.
“Machine can be defective, but in various states also same things earlier happened. Especially when BJP President himself said if CM also casts vote it will go to BJP. Thus we have demanded to review the matter”, said Bijan Dhar.
“We have complained to the Election Commission and he also said it will be taken cared”, added Dhar.
