AGARTALA, Feb 6 (TIWN): The CPI-M in Khayerpur have come in massive protest alleging their party flags were burnt by the BJP.
On yesterday night some miscreants had burnt ruling CPI-M’s party flags, raised resentments and tensions at there.
Indirectly, CPI-M has blamed BJP however for this activity and held a protest rally locally.
Local police came to the spot and noted the complaints but so far no clue about the miscreants.
In Khayerpur CPI-M candidate is sitting MLA Pabrita Kar, whereas from BJP Ratan Chakraborty has been nominated.
