AGARTALA, Feb 4 (TIWN): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has launched 'Vijay Rath Yarta' as a part of Election campaigning from today after offering prayers to Devi Durga at Durga Bari Temple at Agartala.

After offering prayers at Durga temple, Singh kicked off Election a rally named 'Vijay Rath Yatra' with 'Cholo Paltai' slogan. 

State BJP Party President Biplab Deb accompanied Rajnath Singh in the Vijay Rath Yatra.

 Tripura BJP's Star-led Election campaigning had started from yesterday evening with Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh's  arrival.

After arriving at the Agartala Airport, Rajnath Singh directly went to Barjala School ground to hold a rally at there.

Rajnath Singh while addressing in BJP's rally today at Agartala said, "I addressed many rallies earlier in Tripura, but I never came across such a massive rally. I am confident that BJP will surely form the Govt here in Left ruled state Tripura".

Rajnath Ram Badan Singh is an Indian politician belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party who currently serves as the Home Minister. He previously served as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and as a Cabinet Minister in the Vajpayee Government.
