AGARTALA, Jan 30 (TIWN): Tripura Congress's Working President Pradyot Deb Barman after a long time was seen in state, but shockingly not in the Congress Bhawan but with BJP leaders at his Agartala residence.

A meeting inside Ujjayanta Palace was conducted among Pradyot Deb Barman and Tripura State BJP Observer Sunil Deodhar, Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. 

However, the leaders were not expecting media persons outside, but after getting informed, media team kept on holding for long in front of the palace. But after coming out, the BJP leaders didn't clarify the issue much to media even though Pradyot Deb Barman talked a little but no stand was cleared by him. But he said, "Friendship is in one place and politics is separate matter". 

Being asked by media, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "This was not a political meeting, but Pradyot is my friend since 20 years. But I never visited the palace also and thus getting invitation I came here to meet him. Apart from that Pradyut Ji is from Congress and we are from BJP. Both are in separate platforms but anti-left. Let's see what can be done". 

Being asked regarding the issue, BJP State President Biplab Deb in a separate meeting with press at Krishna Nagar party office, gave a green signal about Congress's Working President's BJP joining.
