AMARPUR, Jan 30 (TIWN): Being the Chief Minister of one of the only two Communist ruled states, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Tuesday said while addressing in a rally at Amarpur, "Not only Tripura, but CPI-M's target should be Delhi. After establishing the 8th Left Govt here, CPI-M will try to go in the Centre as the whole country is deprived and saddened by the Central Govts of India".
"Only Communist can develop the country equally", said Sarkar.
"BJP only says 'Cholo-Paltai, but in 2019 the BJP Govt will be changed in the Centre", he added.
The Chief Minister further talked on IPFT-BJP's alliance issue, unemployment etc, claiming if BJP comes in power her, Tripura's condition will be worsen.
Above 10,000 people had gathered at Amapur Chandi Bari field today in Manik Sarkar's rally.
However, Manik Sarkar further told comrades, 'CPI-M should not suffer from self-satisfaction and by any means we have to set the 8th Left Govt".
Ampi constituency's CPI-M candidate Daniel Jamatia, Amarpur (42) candidate Parimal Debnath and other CPI-M leaders as Ranjit Debbarma remained present in the rally.
