Security beefed up ahead of Republic Day-2018

AGARTALA, Jan 24 (TIWN): Security tightened ahead of Republic Day and BSF intensified checking of vehicles at the borders the district shares with neighboring Bangladesh.
As Tripura sharing a very sensitive border with Bangladesh, thus to ensure a safe Republic Day a tight security arrangement has been ordered across Tripura borders.
Apart from that election season have led the border areas already sealed.
There is no loophole in the security and no unwanted incident’s reports have come so far. Although high alert is imposed in the state, but there is no militant threat in the state ahead of Republic Day celebrations.
Security measures have been taken after reviewing different security aspects.
