AGARTALA, Jan 23 (TIWN): Among all the tribal parties of state, it's only IPFT whose alliance with BJP has been confirmed defusing all the allegations have brought against BJP-IPFT's 'unholy' alliance by the ruling CPI-M. Sunil Deodhar in a press conference has confirmed media that 'alliance is sure' but the 'seat debacles are continuing'. However with other tribal parties as NCT, INPT the same seat-sharing issue has kept the alliance far yet. "Talks are going on among INPT and BJP but let's see what comes out of the meetings", said Sunil Deodhar. "With NCT we have not talked yet, but it doesn't mean talk can't be", added Deodhar. Regarding another tribal party TSP who also met PM Modi recently, was not called by BJP, which made TSP leaders upset. When media asked, Deodhar replied, "After meeting PM Modi everybody becomes happy, but about the TSP party I just had no knowledge and just have recognized it after your question", said Deodhar.
The BJP leader further said that seat sharing issues with IPFT will be disclosed by next two days.
However, earlier according to sources it was known that around 9 seats are going to IPFT and 11 are for BJP. But according to sources, later, IPFT asked for at least 10-10 seats. Soon, officially seat numbers will be announced.
