Court grants bail for Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi, June 20 : Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, received bail in excise policy scam case.
Although the bail was granted by the Rouse Avenue Court, the Chief Minister is likely to be freed on Friday after the court orders reach Tihar Jail.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21.
Ahead of the election, was granted temporary relief by the Supreme Court and allowed to campaign in the 2024 General elections. He surrendered again on June 2.
It can be noted here that Kejriwal’s judicial custody was extended till July 3 by the court, a day ago. The judge reserved the order after hearing the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the defence both sides.
