Rajasthan's Bhupendra Yadav gets Ministry of Labour and Environment

Jaipur, July 8 (TIWN) Bhupendra Yadav, a Rajya Sabha MP from Rajasthan, has been made a cabinet minister in the Modi government on Wednesday and has been given the Ministry of Labour and Environment. Ashwini Vaishnav, the new railways and IT minister, also hails from Rajasthan's Jodhpur but presently, he is serving as Rajya Sabha MP from Odisha.
Eventually, in Wednesday's cabinet expansion, only one serving MP from Rajasthan, Yadav, got a chance to become a minister who is serving as Rajya Sabha MP from Rajasthan for the second time. Sources said that Yadav is close to Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
