Bengaluru, Jan 19 (TIWN) In a healthy sign, only 435 new Covid-19 cases were registered in a day across Karnataka, while 973 patients recovered from the virus, said the state health bulletin on Monday.

"With 435 fresh cases registered on Sunday, the state's Covid tally increased to 9,32,432, including 8,033 active cases, while 9,12,205 patients recovered till date, with 973 discharged during the day," said the bulletin.  The infection claimed 9 lives in the last 24 hours, taking the state's death toll to 12,175 since the pandemic broke on March 8.
