Saif Ali Khan attacked news LIVE: Saif Ali Khan was attacked early Thursday morning by an intruder armed with a knife at his home in Mumbai’s Bandra area. The incident occurred around 2:30 am, and the Bollywood actor was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery.

In a statement, Khan’s public relations team confirmed the attempted burglary and requested patience from fans and the media as the police investigate. “Saif Ali Khan is currently in the hospital undergoing surgery,” the statement read. 

According to a police official, the intruder broke into the actor’s residence and got into a physical altercation with him. Some family members were reportedly present at the time. Khan sustained knife injuries but is out of danger. 

While a senior police officer acknowledged the possibility of a robbery, they refrained from providing further details due to the ongoing investigation. Bandra police have initiated an inquiry following their swift response to the incident.
