NEW YORK, June 14 : Pop diva Taylor Swift's 'Eras Tour', which began on March 17, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona, will soon come to an end after entertaining music lovers of five continents. Swift has broken many records during this tour and she will have performed at 152 shows by the end of the tour. The iconic singer announced on Thursday in Liverpool, England that her Eras Tour will come to an end in December. The last show will be held on December 6-8 at the BC Palace in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, reports the 'NBC News'.
Taylor Swift gets emotional
While performing in Liverpool, Taylor Swift announced on stage that it was the very first time she had ever acknowledged herself and admitted that this tour was going to end in December. Expressing her emotion she said that it feels like she just played her first show on this tour because the audience has made this so much fun that she wanted to do 100 shows, 150-something shows.
Eras Tour earns record money
The Eras Tour will be remembered for many reasons, it became the first tour in the history of music to earn more than $1 billion, the highest-grossing tour of all time. The pop star announced the Eras Tour in November 2022, after the release of her tenth studio album 'Midnights'. It was to be her second all-stadium tour after the 2018 'Reputation Stadium Tour'. The list of the Eras Tour consists of over 40 songs grouped into 10 distinct acts, spanning over more than three and a half hours. The show was revamped in May 2024 to incorporate the Tortured Poets Department'.
