AGARTALA, Jan 19 (TIWN): Various party offices, booth offices of opposition BJP were burnt in Tripura after the election date was declared. Yesterday night, after one Dharmanagar activist Rana Sinha was attacked during 'Vijay Sankalp Rally', another Kanu Malakar of 48 years was also attacked by 5-6 CPI-M cadres and left him critically injured. Even after latenight protest at Dharmanagar of the BJP led by MLA Biswabandhu Sen, today various booth offices of BJP were found burnt in state. BJP leader Ratan Chakraborty who was visiting at Khayerpur after a booth office of BJP was burnt at there, told TIWN that the booth was made by Ward No 44 and Ward No 45’s BJP supporters, belongs to Tulakona and Marakpara area. “In those areas apart from CPI-M, no other party could put even their flags. In this condition local youths by own effort when made a booth office the CPI-Ms have burnt it. We believe that CPI-M has only done this activity”, Ratan Chakraborty told TIWN.

Another booth office at kamalasgar was also burnt led massive resentment.

Noteworthy, as soon as the election date was declared, ruling CPI-M led terror is troubling the peace. The condition here is worse than even Kerala.

Yesterday the BJP activist Rana Sinha is fighting with death after around 15 CPI-M cadres attacked him, stressing him from a BJP's rally. Immediately, Sinha was taken to the hospital. Total 25 stitches were given to Rana Sinha but he has left yet unconscious. BJP at Dharmanagar has condemned the brutal attack upon their activist.But following the same incident another BJP activist Kanu Malakar (48) was attacked.

“Ratan Chkanraborty further said that if anything happens after facing so much of violence, the liability will go to the state govt”, said Chakraborty.
