AGARTALA, Jan 11 (TIWN): Frustration over Himanta Biswa Sarma’s hobnobbing with IPFT, Tripura State President Biplab Deb has finally given up and hesitated to talk for long on IPFT's Tipraland issue's compromise with BJP's 'No Tipraland' stand. State media asked Biplab Deb in today's press meet whether BJP has made any compromise with the state division or not. But, even though Tripura BJP is going to align with IPFT amidst NC Debbarma's strong Tipraland demand, the Party President said that he didn't see the press conference of IPFT President NC Debbarma yesterday, but from newspaper he came to know about it. Even though he is the party President but against all question, Biplab Deb was escaping the heats and kept on saying "Central Committee knows", "Rajnath Singh knows", "Amit Shah knows".
However, amidst media's pressure upon Biplab Deb on the typical issue that yesterday N C Debbarma clearly said, "Without Tipraland demand's fulfillment, IPFT will not align with Tripura BJP", Biplab Deb said that he is just a party worker and decisions or details are with Central committee, but not with him.
Even though BJP President Biplab Deb said that "No" Tipraland issue was discussed among IPFT and Central led BJP Govt, but NC Debbarma clearly said yesterday evening that without Tipraland demand IPFT will never align with BJP for Assembly Election-2018. Even though BJP tried a lot to make media to believe that PM Modi or Rajnath Singh held "No" talk with IPFT regarding Tipraland, but N C Debbarma said, "The sign of the discussion was "Ofcourse" positive and that's why we talked on alliance". Being asked about Rajnath Singh's tweet on socio-cultural-economic development for tribals, N C Debbarma said, "It's ofcourse a positive sign and it will develop Tripura, but following our Central Committee meeting, we have decided that without Tipraland no compromise will IPFT do".
However, there two separate views on IPFT's alliance with BJP : one is from BJP which says "We have not talked on Tipraland" and another is from IPFT, who are saying, "We need Tipraland". Amidst all these, even though N C Debbarma said that without Tipraland, we will not align with BJP but only time will say how far the debates continue as Assembly Election is knocking door.
However, today also in the press conference, Biplab Deb was constantly mentioning that Tripura BJP will never support Tipraland, but being the party President, Deb ended by saying he didn't see IPFT President's press meet.
