AGARTALA, Nov 22 (TIWN):Manik Sarkar led Tripura Police turned into a den of seasoned murderers as Journalist killers produced before court without any strong chargesheet. This is another black-day in the history of democracy, when the saviors have turned killers and Tuesday's incident which slain Tripura's veteran Journalist Sudip Datta Bhaumik inside TSR HQ of 2nd Bn will remain as a dark spot in Tripura's history. Both TSR Commandant Tapan Debbarma, his bodyguard Nandu Reang have been produced before the court on Wednesday.

Both of them are accused of killing senior journalist Sudip Datta Bhaumik on Tuesday at the Headquarter of TSR 2nd Bn with 2 bullets. The TSR Commandant also made a story behind the cold blooded murder. 

 According to the accused Tapan Debbarma's claims, when both TSR Commandant Tapan Debbarma and Sudip Datta Bhaumik was in a conversation, the TSR Commandant went to washroom and after coming from the washroom a packet full of money was found missing which developed an argument among the journalist and the officer.

Then Sudip Datta Bhaumik was trying to escape and in scuffle with the body guard Nandu Reang, Sudip Datta Bhaumik was killed. However, this claim can not be true as in front of full battalion zone how Sudip Datta was trying to escape in such a manner that the body guard had to shoot him ? Moreover, why instead of main exit, Bhaumik rushed towards backside of the camp.

Truth : Sudip Datta Bhaumik was called by TSR Bn and before leaving for the camp, Bhaumik told his newspaper's editor Subol Dey about this. Bhaumik was making various corruption related news on Tapan Debbarma who earlier was in 1^st Bn and for sometime he also worked as the Add SP of West. Various financial misappropriation was reported against him  by Sudip Datta Bhaumik and total 11 channels had broadcasted the news. 

Moreover, some of the TSR Jawans, who are unwilling to reveal their names, their claims are just horrifying. According to the inside news, after Sudip Datta Bhaumik entered the commandant’s office, he was offered with tea, biscuits. But suddenly from outside it was heard Sudip Datta Bahumik is saying, “Please Don’t kill me. Let me go, I have wife, 2 children”.

Not only this, after the murder the body was trying to hide inside the TSR camp, but other TSR officials opposed to it. Later after damaging all clues police was informed and after 2 and half hours police recovered his body, taken to  hospital.

Right now, there are tremendous resentments  going on among the state media persons. Already demand for CBI investigation begins  in Sudip Datta Bhaumik’s murder case.
