AGARTALA, Nov 21 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, who is also the Home Minister of Tripura has finally given his statement condoling the murder of state journalist Sudip Datta Bhaumik but Manik Sarkar's futile attempt of saving CPI-M's close comrade cum TSR 2nd Btn Commandant Tapan Debbarma was exposed. But Chief Minister’s statement has triggered resentment among the journalists as rather than condoling the incident, Manik sarkar gave final judgment of the incident, although the investigation is not completed. What Manik Sarkar’s statement says it is : "Tripura’s journalist was killed by TSR Commandant’s body guard, who has been arrested. This incident is shocking and DGP has been ordered for faster investigation". Murder planner Commmandant Tapan Debbarma's intimacy with Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is well known in official circles. Same Tapan Debbarma also the accused killer of Papai Saha murder case as this tainted officer killed innocent Papai from his service revolver in front of Shyam Sundar Jewelerry Store at Agartala.

But on the same time opposition leader Sunil Deodhar has strongly condemned the incident, claimed a deep conspiracy hidden  inside the case. 

Addressing press, Deodhar said, “Via Sandyan Editor Subol Dey I have been informed that Sudip Datta Bhowmik was killed in a room and the news items were threw beside the room after burning. Tripura which tops in crime rate, standing in the last row at the conviction rate in the whole country”.

Whether Chief Minister’s statement gave a final conclusion, Governor Tathagata Roy told media, “I will go till the end of the incident. This is more dangerous than Santanu murder case. How by state rifles, a journalist was killed. Constantly 2 murders one after one is intolerable. I will go till the end of it, that much I can promise you”.

Governor also assured to talk about CBI investigation in both of the murder cases.
