AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): All Tripura Tiger Force’s (ATTF) former chief Ranjit Debbarma, who is believed as the much obedient fellow of CPI-M since 1990 was arrested recently by police with his anti-nationalist speech’s allegation. Debbarma is trusted as CPI-M’s spy and allegations brought many times against the ruling CPI-M for keeping lapses in Ranjit Debbarma’s case, who was indulged in mass killing. Ranjit Debbarma’s recent arrest by Tripura Police, shocked the public. Questions raied why after 23 years of CPI-M regime, the ATTF ex-leader was arrested suddenly ? What the CPI-M Govt wanted to prove ?

However, opposition BJP leader MLA Sudip Barman was recently asked by media, what’s his view on the case. Replying media queries, Barman said, “This is nothing, but the much obedient boy of Manik Sarkar is becoming disobedient and thus he was arrested”.

“If Ranjit Debbarma was arrested for an Anti-Nationalist speech, why not Manik Sarkar was arrested when he said Govt of India is doing Dadagiri on neighboring countries ? Actually, there was no issue but most likely as per the sources information, Ranjit Debbarma wanted to create a new political party which may harm CPI-M’s votebanks in the 2018’s election”, said Barman.

“My question is………. Ranjit Debbarma wanted to surrender. He wrote a letter to the Chief Minister last year. But why he didn’t reply to Ranjit Debbarma ?”, added Barman.

“From JNU to Kashmir issue, the Communists who always talk about separatism, suddenly became nationalist ??”, asked Barman.

Barman also brought serious allegation against Tripura Police. According to Barman, Ranjit Debbarma had prior-permission letter in hand for the rally at Sidhai in western Tripura, but suddenly police came and said please give the letter as we have to keep a Xerox. Ranjit Debbarma didn’t understand the trap and police didn’t return the paper to him and then they arrested him for spreading anti-nationalist speech without rally’s permission.
