AGARTALA, Nov 17 (TIWN): Tripura Infoway (TIWN) was the first media to expose Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's in-law's property deals with chit fund owner Ratan Chowdhury via 'Power of Attorney'. Even though the matter was attempted for exposure in State Assembly by opposition MLA Ratan Lal Nath , but at that time CPI-M leaders intentionally created unnecessary uproars in the Assembly to save the Chief Minister from replying to that corruption related question. But TIWN had given the details after an interview with Ratan Lal Nath totally exposing CM’s family corruption, ties with Chit Fund. However, today at the Press Meet, Ratan Lal Nath further exposed the Bhattacharjee family (CM's in-laws family) in details asking, 'How a chit fund owner can be the most trustable person of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's wife Panchali Bhattacharjee?"

"I tried to expose the thing in the Assembly, but could not due to the intentional interruptions came from CPI-Ms. However, I never would hit on such issues but I am bound as  chit fund which caused the biggest financial loss for Tripura, had snatched 30 years of Tripura Govt's income", said Nath at the introduction.

"In 2013, a case was filed against one of the chit fund owners of Tripura Ratan Chowdhury in West PS with the case number 128 / 2013 for his financial cheating to the mass through his chit fund company Jiban Samriddhi Medical Lmt. Later he got bail. Then he opened another chit fund company named Altiuistice Agro Food Lmt, but no chargesheet has been filed against it", added Nath.

"But, in later the Chit Fund owner opened new company at Bodhjungnagar, named Tiruptati Constructor. . But opening a new company doesn't mean he belong clean image. On that time in 2016, Illa Bhattacharjee's family members had given their property's power of attorney to this same fraud chit fund owner, which is unbelievable", said Nath.

Some names exposed by Nath in the property to give the power of attorney were : Panchali Bhattacharjee, Sunanda Bhattacharjee, Santana Bhattacharjee, Sunil Bhattacharjee, Gargi  Bhattacharjee, Laxmi Bhattacharjee, Baidehi Bhattacharjee.

"Then also how can the Chief Minister claim.......I don't know anything !! I am innocent ??", asked Nath.

Mocking at the CM's promise about returning Public money, Ratan Lal Nath said,  "Nothing will be given to public, because he has no intention. Moreover, planwise saving the Jiban Sambriddhi Chit fund owners like Ratan Chowdhury who looting Tripura's money built a flat Dum Dum was a totally misusing of public trust", said Nath.
