AGARTALA, Nov 14 (TIWN): Pre-Poll propaganda may not save CPI-M in upcoming Assembly election in Tripura. Railway, 5 new ongoing National Highway Projects could not satisfy lameduck CPI-M, neither the Central Govt could make the ruling party of Tripura happy either its UPA Govt or NDA Govt. CPI-M which can never take self-criticism has once again taken shelter under lies, to hide PWD’s decade long corruptions. Even though referring Dipa Karmakar’s logic of returning gifted BMW, Tripura CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar said that how can Dipa’s blames about Tripura’s roadway’s liabilities go to the State Govt as the National Highway belong to the central govt ?, but the reality is National Highway belonged to the State Govt PWD only since 25 years, but recently seeing the rampant corruption of CPI-M Govt here, only the new project of ‘Double-Lane’ construction was taken by the central govt.

It doesn’t mean that the broken condition of National highways is due to the central govt. Battala road, Nagerjala road and National Highways pathetic conditions are due to PWD's corruption and recently a double lane project has been taken by the Central Govt which has already polished the Southern roads.

From narrow roads to main road nowhere developmental touch can be  seen under CPI-M Govt,but still Bijan Dhar had put objection on the Parliamentary team’s allegations saying that Tripura has sighted example of development.

State CPI-M Secretary Bijan Dhar on Monday came in an open battle with Tripura's Golden Girl, State’s pride Dipa Karmakar, slamming her for calling Agartala roads are ‘narrow’, ‘potholed’ while returning her BMW car. Tripura's Produnova girl gymnast Dipa Karmakar who had returned the BMW gifted by Sachin Tendulkar after Rio Olympic, is now being campaigned by Tripura Political Parties. Dipa said while returning the car that Tripura roads are not qualified for BMW cars full of narrow roads and potholes.

Dipa's statement caused a national level face loss for CPI-M which exposed PWD's corruption under Manik Sarkar's regime. This issue was raised by state BJP, Trinamool few times as reference to CPI-M's corruptions. 

Addressing a press meet at the party office Bijan Dhar said today, "If Tripura was not been developed how the state govt received 33 awards and if BMW can't run over the road is it only our fault ? National Highway belong to Central Govt".
