AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): To beat BJP as the opposition, Congress is to align with Trinamool Party along with IPFT (Rajeshawar Debbarma's team), NCT. But question raises, will it bring any affect on opposition vote banks or will increase CPI-M's vote banks ? Neither Congress, not Trinamool has any power and support in state Tripura amidst CPI-M utmost support giving to Congress to down BJP's vote banks. MLA Gopal Roy announced on Tuesday that Tripura Congress to align with its rival Trinamool for the Election-2018. Moreover Congress has also launched various protests against BJP whereas it's totally silent about CPI-M's major scams.

But it's to be seen whether such attempts increases Congress's vote banks or downs it.

Rajeswar Debbarma led IPFT is also going to align with Congress which likely tp destroy IPFT's image more heavily and NC Debbarma led IPFT may become more powerful.

From IPFT to 12000 case at Supreme Court, Congress has blamed BJP in Tripura with the direction of Central Congress as well as state CPI-M.

On the other side, Congress MLA Gopal Roy while addressing a press meet at Congress Bhawan said, "Congress has no problem to join with the parties which bear secular mindset".

Gopal Roy's comment has directly supported CPI-M signaling Congress's alliance with CPI-M in future in state or centre is muc possible.

NCT also once created a forum with IPFT which gathered huge tribal vote banks but today same as Rajeswar Debbarma led IPFT and NCT have no support and going to shake hands with Congress.

Moreover, Trinamool Supremo Mamata Banerjee might share a same dais with Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi to beg Tripura people's votes.

With all these Congress is fully supporting CPI-M to win the election and at the same time Congress is trying to keep its existence alive as much as possible in the election-2018. However, only 4 months left that Tripura Assembly Election result to be out.
