AGARTALA, Sep 22 (TIWN): Manik Sarkar's public display of sympathy always takes precedence for unknown outer-state victims (that too only communist victims) rather than murdered victims in his home State Tripura. When Tripura Journalists sat till midnight front of his home 2 days back, Manik Sarkar never bothered to come forward to console grieving scribes. Also Manik had no time to pay floral tributes in deadbody in front of Press Club yesterday. Same Manik Sarkar wasted no time in flying to Hyderabad to offer floral tributes to unknown leftist student Rohit Vemula. Forced by media and public pressure finally Manik Sarkar visited grieving Journalist's family but whether wily CM offered any monetary help is still unknown.

Most condemnable thing is CM didn't pass any statement on the brutal murder eventhough he himself is the Home Minister.Tripura Journalists asked ICA Minister, 'It was the first cabinet meeting after Santanu's murder. Tripura CM always fails to take any decision. So, we thought via the cabinet you people will discuss the matter. But why Santanu was ignored in your cabinet meeting ?' Saha also added, Bhanulal Saha said, "Only police can not control everything. When common people take the role the matters get worst".

However, two persons have been arrested in Santanu Bhowmik murder case at Jirania.

These 2 accused are : Bikash Debbarma and Shyamal Debbarma, who have been sent for 14 days police remand.

IPFT's brutal attack allegedly has killed Tripura young journalist Santanu Bhowmik on Wednesday.

Resident of Jirania, the young journalist was associated with various electronic media who has been killed while covering IPFT and CPI-M clash.

Santanu was 26 years old, born on 12 January, 1989 was working in various electronic media.
