AGARTALA, June 27 (TIWN): Rose Valley, I-Core, Basil International Chit Fund companies not only looted Tripura people over Rs 1500 crores but constructed huge luxurious buildings for CPI-M Party from Melarmath (Agartala), Udaipur, Dharmanagar to all district and sub-divisional towns. Every building was fitted with ultra-modern interiors, elevators, air-conditioning to star hotel luxuries to accommodate so called champions of ‘poor’ under the garb of fake ‘Marxism’. Certainly question arises that from where this poor party got hundreds of crores to build massive party offices across the State ??? If CBI can squeeze enough then Bijita Nath may divulge big names behind this Chit-Fund financing racket. A proper CBI investigation will find the links between Rose Valley and CPI-M’s wealthy party office constructions across State. CBI’s interrogation of Minister Bijita Nath on June 29,2017, 10am at Minister’s official residence is a tight slap on Manik Sarkar led CPI-M Govt’s unabated corruption over two decades.

Sources informed that, Bijita Nath may spell out big names like GautamDas, ManikSarkar’s continuous patronage to Rose Valley’s GautamKundu as dubious Chit Fund company cheated Tripura public and siphoned over a thousand crores.

Due to Manik Sarkar’s direct involvement to favour Rose Valley Chit Fund, huge tracts of lands were allotted in throwaway prices across prime places in Tripura including Rose Valley Park at Anchor Amtali which Sarkar inaugurated and openly pitched for Rose Valley as its brand ambassador to woo hapless public.

Chief Minister Manik Sarkar’s direct involvement in patronizing Rose Valley enhanced its corrupt Chit Fund business across Tripura. CBI’s investigation likely to reveal not only corrupt Minister BijitaNath’s direct involvement in Rose Valley Chit Fund scam but to net other big fishes like Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, CPI-M Spokesperson Gautam Das for amassing hundreds of crores benefitting party’s dilipidated cash reserve after CPI-M’s decimation nationally.

In a massive blow to the Manis Sarkar's  transparentgovt CBI has issued notice to Science and Technology cum Social Welfare and Social Education Minister Bijita Nath asking her to remain present at her official residence located at Agartala on 29th June 2017 at 10am.   In a letter issued vide No  /RC39/S/2014-SCB/Kol by the Inspector of Police, CBI/EO-IV/Kolkata BratinGhoshal it is categorically mentioned ,"  Under Chapter XII of the Crimnal Procedure you are hereby required to make yourself available on 29/06/2017 at 10 am in your official residence  located at Agartala for the purpose of answering certain questions relating to the case."

The notice has been issued U/S 160 Cr Pc. And in the particulars of the case the CBI  notice says "Case No 39(S) 2014 regular u/s 420/408/409/120-B and 34 of IPC and 4,5,6 of the Prize Chitsand Money circulation Schemes(Banning) Act 1978 against the Chairman Rose Valley Hotel and Entertainment Limited and others ."

With this notice it is clear that CBI is going to start investigation in Tripura in the Chit Fund scam namely in Rose Valley case and Minister Bijita Nath ill be the first VVIP in Tripura to be interrogated in Chit Fund scam.

It is to be mentioned here that Bijita Nath apart from being a cabinet Minster once acted as Rose Valley agent and she is directly motivated thousand of common people of the state to invest their hard-earned money in Rose Valley chit fund company.  Thousands and crores of money were looted by Rose Valley from Tripura and BijitaNath , using her political influence , was one of those persons against whom cases of criminal conspiracy can be lodged. Many regard the CBI notice to be the first step in this direction.

Whatever, the outcome may be it is clear that this has come as a severe blow to Manik Sarkar's honest(?)govt. A highly placed Melarmath sources revealed that CPI-M party leaders were asked not to make any statement before the on this sensitive issue.

Interestingly the CBI Notice has come at a time when CPI-M is fighting hard to make damage control of Manik Sarkar's so called honest image which has received a severe blow due to the  publication of a book by an RSS leader in Marathi language. And with this notice opposition has got a big weapon to attack this govt. Now the question is ," Will CPI-M party ,which is always vocal on issues like morality, ask Bijita Nath to resign from cabinet on moral ground ?"

Ahead of 2018 assembly poll CPI-M is now under tremendous pressure. Already a closed door meeting is learnt to have conducted in Melarmath in presence of top CPI-M leaders, said TIWN Melarmathsouces. The sources added that the mater has already been communicated to CPI-M's central committee. The sources further said ," CPI-M has decided to fight it in political level but the party is cincerned with its consequences . "

It is to be mentioned here that when CBI arreted TMC heavyweight leader cum former West Bengal Transport Minister Madan Mitra CPI-M West Bengal unit did not leave any stone unturned to defame the TMC and its SupremoMamata Banerjee. The party infact remained silent on the same issue  in Tripura, where crores of rupees were looted by chit fund especially Rose Valley. Even Manik Sarkar himself praised Rose Valley during the inauguration programme of Rose Valley's entertainment park at Amtali. Now with CBI's notice to BijitaNath , CPI-M will surely face tough situation .

Already the Left Front is facing probably the toughest challenge in the last 24years caused by the strong organizational campaign by BJP along with its Central leaders including Union Ministers. Manik Sarkar, since 1998, has not faced the situation when Central Ministers criticized him and his govt . But just after Uttar Pradesh Assembly Poll  central leaders even BJP national President Amit Shah have started coming to the state  . Amit Shah himself declared that if BJP comes to power in Tripura in 2018 in its first cabinet meeting BJP govt will take the resolution to implement 7th CPC's recommendations for the state govt employees. Soon after this declaration a massive anger against the Left Front Govt has started to grip the employees even those including H B Road members.

Now CBI notice has come as a bolt from the blue to the Manik Sarkar led Left govt . It is assumed that once the CBI starts investigation in Tripura by interrogating Bijita Nath, it is clear that big fishes will be caught soon in CBI net. Even Manik Sarkar's role is not beyond question .  Because his speech in Rose Valley function and his meeting with tainted TMC MP Kunal Ghosh were seen as matters of suspicion . Moreover, TIWN's Melarmath sources also revealed that after the CBI notice CPI-M leaders are worried about the further impact of CBI's role in different scams of hundreds of crores already came to light in recent years(given below a list of few):-

Major scams unearthed so far in Left Front ruled Tripura (List will continue to be much longer) :

In short , state politics is bound to see a major upheavals all on asudden.

Tripura public looking forward detailed investigation leading to prosecution and jail terms for Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, Gautam Das, Minister Bijita Nath alongwith corrupt bureaucrats like S.K.Panda, GSG Ayyangar, MGNREGA scamsterBimal Chakraborty etc who were involved in abetting multicrore MGNREGA scams, land allotments to Rose Valley Chit Fund, cheating Tripura public their life’s savings.
