AGARTALA, June 22 (TIWN): A fresh controversy has been erupted with the allegations came against Tripura Govt for hiding the hearing of Science Graduate (Assistant) Teachers, which was disposed off in 2014's WPC No-537/2012. A source said that a section of Teachers among 10323 are planning to file a case against the recruitment policy through which Assistant Teachers were recruited in 2012. Resentment accumulated after the High Court’ s order in the case no WP(C) 251/2012 filed by Ms. Anita Paul & Others. In this case Assistant Teachers got relief and retained in their job. As per the source and data related to case no 251/2012 of Anita Paul & others , during the case on 27.03.2017 Ms. A. S. Lodh, learned Addl. G.A. said, “ appearing for the respondents has submitted that this matter is impacted by a decision of this court [in the Division Bench] which has been challenged in the Supreme Court and is waiting for its decision”.

Now question arises which case she mentioned here?

High Court passed a judgment on 07/05/2014 but  there was a WPC 537 at the page no 47 which was filled by  AmzadHussain, S/O. IdrisMiah,Village & P.O.- Boxanagar,Dist.- Sipahijala, Tripura, 799102 against four teachers 1) MithanDey,S/O UdayDey,vill.+ P.O.- Kamalnagar. 2) Md. AbulBasarziaUddin,S/O Musadar Ali,vill.+ P.O. Tillgaon, Kailasahar,Dist.- Unakoti 3) SumanDebnath,S/O Anil Chandra Debnath,vill.- Nihartnagar, P.O.- Anandapur, and 4) BidhanSinha,S/O BidyakantaSinha,vill.+ P.O.- Kumarghat recruited in 2012.

The source also accessed the list of Assistant Teachers recruited in 2012 in this list the teachers SL No 144. AbulBasar Zia Uddin,SL NO 928. MitanDey, 272 Suman Debnath& 145 Bidhan Sinha. Tripura government also challenged the WPC 537/2012 in the Supreme Court with other WPCs and lost the case.

Now it is evident that Assistant Teachers recruitment policy was also challenged in the High Court and legally they should be in job till 31/12/2017 like 10323. There is no need to file another case or to give job to 10 unemployed youth as the case was disposed off by the Apex Court.

A sacked Teacher from Kumarghat Said “ Science Graduate Teachers case was with us and legally they are in the job till 31/12/2017”

Another teacher from kamalpursaid  “ Our and their recruitment policy was same. Our job was terminated by the HC judgment their case was in it. So their fate should be like us. Moreover , we shall face discrimination in future with regard to eligibility, marks. Many Assistant Teachers have no minimum qualification. As their admission was denied by the IGNOU for D.El.ED.”

Is Tripura Govt. concealing the case intentionally or for any other reason? It is not clear. And total no of teachers should be 10323 plus 962 ie 11285. Tripura is eying on Govt. decisions about Science Teachers.
