AGARTALA, June 22 (TIWN): Central BJP Minister Babul Supriyo in his one day visit in Tripura on the occasion of World Yoga Day although expressed pleasure but further morally advised the party working inside the state to boost its strength more and more as the poll is knocking the door.

Addressing the gathering at Rabindra Bhawan, Babul Supriyo said, “This is a working day and it’s really nice to see so much gathering in a working day for Yoga Diwas, although some seats are blank yet. But, don’t worry, I will fill up the vacant seats by editing in my smart phone. One person will be found sitting in 3 places……if anyone asks I will tell him that they were brothers, look same”.

Although Babul Supriyo’s comment raised roars of laughter across Rabindra Bhawan auditorium, in the presence of State President Biplab Deb, but it was evident Minister’s expectation was more than he saw.

BJP even though getting huge response for the state, but sometimes due to lack of planning and programme the party's strength weakens and Babul Supriyo’s comment was also a pinching to it.

However, as per BJP’s source it has been said that due to state-wide Yoga prgrammes, huge number of members were working per booths on World Yoga Day.
