AGARTALA, May 25 (TIWN): When country is suffering from continuous Pak-China attack threats, Tripura’s son Martyr Amal Sarkar’s family living in poverty fully neglected by state govt too. State Govt neither gave any compensation to the family, nor felt it necessary to take the issue to the centre so that atleast one job or some amount of compensation can be arranged for SSB Martyr Amal Sarkar. Moreover, when the issue raised before CM Manik Sarkar, who is also the Home Minister on the 2nd day of Tripura Assembly Special session, Sarkar clearly said that is important that a martyr family should be taken cared, but first let’s see what central govt or Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) gives his family. Sarkar’s speech clearly reveals that Govt has all capacity to compensate the family but it lacks mentality and thus politicization with Martyrs also on peak in Tripura ahead of election.

Even Amal Sarkar’s father also accepted that his son’s earnings were all source of livelihood for the family, but alas, today state is waiting for central force to take some actions first and seeing that state govt will compensate the family.

Martyr Amal Sarkar, who was serving as SSB soldier under No.15 Btln, killed by NDFB terrorists at Assam Kokrajhar on Tuesday, after 4 days of his death, no Minister or the CM met his family members which was done in Shambhu Satmura & Chittaranjan Debbarma’s time.

Question raises, will Tripura forget this family, just because he was serving in Central Police force ? Amal Sarkar was the only earning person in whole family and with his earning his family was running but with his death the family has been collapsed morally as well as economically.

Why so negligence with Amal Sarkar’s family ? Is it because he was killed by Northeast Terrorist, allegedly funded by China or Tripura Govt doesn’t feel SSB soldiers are worth so much to be honoured ?

A job in the martyrs family is very much necessary as without Amal Sarkar his old parents and wife, daughters have been devastated already.

Sashastra Seema Bal or SSB, in English the Armed Border Force (rarely translated into English in Indian usage), is one of India's Central Armed Police Forces. It is currently under the administrative control of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Govt of India. Prior to 2001, the force was known as the Special Service Bureau (SSB).
