KAILASHAHAR / AGARTALA, Feb 28 (TIWN): "PM Modi during a cabinet meeting with his Ministers instructed all to have special focus on NE and time to time inspect the developmental works going on here", Union Minister for State in AYUSH Shripad Naik said on Tuesday at Kailashahar. Naik who has arrived Tripura in his two day long visit directly went to Kailashahar to visit the Ayush Hospital there. During his speech at Kalishahar Vivekananda Hall he said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has instructed all the Ministers to visit Northeast's every states in every 3 months of gap and to take reports of the developmental works there. Modi Ji has also asked us to take proper care about Northeast zone, which need special focus and any proposal comes from Northeast it should be implemented at the earliest". However, the Minister also said that as per PM Modi's plan, every Districts of India would have one AYUSH Hospital, but Tripura Govt yet to send any proposal regarding this.

The Minister visited the 10 bedded Ayush Hospital at Kailashahar accompanied by Kailashahar District Magistrate Pramatha Ranjan Bhattacharjee, AYUSH Hospital CMOIC Sushanta Sinha, CMO Dr. Dilip Karmakar, Medical Super Dr. Satyajit Pal, Director of Health & Family Welfare Department Dr. J K Debbarma.

BJP State President Biplab Deb and State Observer Sunil Deodhar remained present on that occasion.  

Resentment brewed among the AUSH Hospital staffs over BJP State leaders as they organized few programmes for the Central Minister including Yoga performances. But due to the party programme at Vivekananda Hall the hospital programme was minimized, as already people were waiting eagerly to see the Central Minister at another part of Kailashahar.

However, his visit is mainly focused on hospital visits and taking reports about Ayurvedic Hospitals and to address to the people here.
