AGARTALA, Jan 31 (TIWN): To defeat the left front party in the upcoming Assembly Election-2018, Tripura major opposition parties BJP, TMC to align and already discussion is going on among the party members in this regard. The 3 regional parties of Tripura IPFT, INPT, NCT also will join in this move, whereas Tripura Congress is strictly against the ‘alliance’. TIWN already published photographs of BJP President Biplab Deb and Trinamool MLA Biswabandhu Sen holding meeting with each others. However, the party members will not change their party-identities, whereas alliance would confirm the defeat of CPI-M in this upcoming Election, said Biswabandhu Sen. Already tribal regional parties alliance has been worrying the CPI-Ms much here, which CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar himself expressed during the press meet. Also Bijan Dhar expressed his concern about BJP, RSS’s increasing popularity in state. In this condition the 2nd opposition party TMC and Tribal parties alliance may hit the left front heavily in this election.

On November 21, after the election result for Bi-election, curiosity began among a larger section of people whether Tripura opposition parties after the crucial results will be aligned together or not as one place is leading by BJP as the opposition, another place is leading by TMC.

But breaking down all the confusions BJP State President Biplab Deb and State Observer Sunil Deodhar on November 22 said in a press meet immediately held after the bi-election result, “We call all opposition parties in Tripura to align with BJP and challenge the CPI-M in this upcoming bi-election”.

In Barjala  constituency CPI-M gathered 44.84 %, BJP 35. 24 %, TMC 16. 18 %, Congress  3.6 %, Amra Bangali below 1%”, he said.About Khowai-25 constituency Dhar announced, “ CPI-M has achieved 66.9 %, TMC 23.5 %, BJP 6.8 %, Congress 1.8 %. So from that time CPI-M’s worry had begun regarding the alliance of the parties.

However, finally Tripura to see BJP-TMC alliance ahead of Assembly election. No it’s to be seen how many twists more will come for this 2018’s Assembly election history.
