AGARTALA, Jan 18 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M & Bengal Trinamool’s involvement with various Chit-Fund companies Rose Valley, Sarada causing much sleepless nights for state politicians who are involved in Rose Valley scam either in Tripura or in West Bengal. On the occasion of one year’s completion of Biplab Deb's party Presidency, the BJP leaders announced that CBI inquiry against Rose Valley will surely be held in Tripura. “CBI investigating other states now and automatically they will come in Tripura too. But blaming the Central Govt is not the resolution. CBI will come as a part of its chit fund investigation and inquiry surely will be conducted here too”, said Sunil Deodhar, the State Observer of Tripura. Earlier also in a press meet the State BJP President alleged that due to the State Govt’s silence the CBI investigation against Rose Valley is just delaying.

Earlier, expressing dissatisfaction about SIT’s slow investigation Deb said, “We were always against Rajib Singh to be in SIT and now also, neither we have any trust in SIT investigation”.

In this situation question raises, why the state govt is not asking for CBI investigation against Rose Valley evenafter SIT’s failure to submit Chargesheets in HC?

Apart from BJP TMC also charged the Tripura DGP K Nagraj particularly mentioning about SIT’s slow progress in Chit fund cases.

Massive criticism has hit Tripura DGP K Nagraj’s prestige after he said that a total around 78 chit fund cases are under SIT. Whereas there were 70 cases under SIT which was told by High Court as well Manik Sarkar himself, DGP said a different figure. One Congress MLA Ratna Lal Saha recently raised question about the double answer from state administration and mocks at DGP’s ignorance. Nath was talking on the background of Rose Valley Chit fund in Tripura at Press Club, where he raised the issue. However, Nath also doubted whether 70 figure is correct or not as under West PS there are 3 cases as : 140/2013, 141 /2013,  Case No. 132/ 2013. But what surprises is that the case number 140 & 141 were not enlisted in those 70 chit fund cases under SIT.

In this regard one Congress MLA told TIWN “Centre has no link by CBI neither it can direct CBI to come in Tripura, without state govt’s invitation. So, unnecessarily blaming the Centre is nothing but politics”. “If the CPI-M state Govt wants it can easily call for CBI investigation against Rose Valley. High Court asked for Sit as the state Govt never showed any interest in CBI investigation. Now if the state govt tells High Court that it wants CBI investigation, High Courts will not have any problem in it…..”, said Nath.

Biplab Deb said that in Bartaman Paper a false document was published in the form of a ltter from PMO Office to CBI showing that PM is instructing CBI. Biplab Deb immediately informed at PMO office and following the news the office released a press note, where it was said, "The said report is totally false and baseless. The said letter displayed is a forgery. No such letter has been issued by the Prime Minister's Office”.

However, if necessary actions will be taken against such activities, the State Observer gave a signal to it.
