AGARTALA, Jan 10 (TIWN): Manik Sarkar’s CPI-M Govt claims as champion of Tribals to garner votes but when it comes to illegal acquision of Tribal Lands for Chit Fund companies like Rose Valley, no bars from State Administration. It has been reported that whereas among 100 Kani (40 Ekar) land under Amtali Rose Valley amusement park 33.14 is khas land, the rest 17.5 kani is for tribals, which were taken without giving any compensation to them. Even after banning Rose Valley Chit Fund business due to Courts orders and CBI threats, State Govt never seized the land. In contrast at West Bengal’s Barasat, the Rose Valley park was seized by State Govt but in Tripura, CPI-M Govt rather patronizing Rose Valley Park with tax free business. The tax relaxation to Rose Valley Entertainment Park since the year 2015 is continuing even though the park entry fee is Rs. 60, after entry for car parking there one has to pay more Rs. 25 and for boating it charges Rs. 125.

The boating land was fully belong to the Tripura Govt’s Khash and whereas ‘No-Tax’ is given by Rose Valley park owner since the year 2015.

In the year 2011-12 Rose Valley Entertainment Park gave Tripura Govt Rs. 11 lakhs 8 thousand rupees Tax, in the year 2012-13 it gave 9 lakhs 51 thousand, in 2013-14 it gave Rs. 12 lakhs 13 thousand rupees tax, but after that no tax were taken from that Park from 2015…...whereas in 14-15 Rs. 6 lakhs 89 thousand was the total tax amount.

In this condition generally question raises, why Tripura Govt is so much sympathetic towards the Rose Valley?

In total 51 Kaani belongs to khash and tribals own 20 kani.

This is how Rose valley is making money year after year and State Govt is so desperate to save the Rose Valley that it relaxed the whole year 2016’s tax for the Park.

Rose Valley is  7 times more ponzi scam than Sarada and country’s highest ever chit fund group, but eventhough opposition party’s raised voice to run direct CBI investigation in Tripura Rose Valley scam, but at the ruling showed never interest in it, rather it preferred Tripura Police, SIT in it.

 After the failure of Tripura Police, High Court ordered SIT to submit fresh report on the chit fund scams. But crossing the last date for submission of  chargesheet, SIT has miserably shown its capacity for investigation. Day by day the data, sources are losing but Tripura Govt is happy with the slow progress of SIT investigation.

Tripura govt also didn’t want any CBI investigation in it. But when in that last Assembly opposition raised question, Manik Sarkar told the opposition, “……please keep patience in Chit fund case. We have to figure out the whole amount which has been looted by the chit fund companies from the common people’.
