AGARTALA, Sep 27 (TIWN): With the death of 2 young boys on the heart of Agartala City, has once again proved the miserable shape of Tripura administration, which becomes poorer than a common man in emergency situation.

The boys today killed, just because Firemen in Tripura lacks proper training like NDRF staffs. Neither they had any oxygen mask which could save the lives of those two boys.

But one of the boys amongst the deceased jumped to save the other, but police was helpless.

The two deceased Subham Nama (18) & Mangal Das (26), would have been alive, if NDRF team was earlier informed. But surprisingly, when Firemen came there and said, “It’s not our work. We can’t save them”…… they didn’t bother to call NDRF on the spot and anyhow managed to escape from the place.

After today’s incident people have come to know about the importance of Disaster Management. Although through out the whole year police are trained with various disastrous issues, but when it comes for action police becomes helpless.

Agitated mass screamed over the administration including DM, IG Law & Order by saying, why nobody is there to help the helpless? They also raised question, is it so called developing state, where in emergency time nobody knows who can help a dying person?

Agartala City has witnessed 2 deaths before eyes. Now question arises, how many people know about NDRF? If police called them on the hit of the moment, then the situation would be better.

Tripura Police lacks fitness, lacks training in physical activity as well as in cyber activity--- which have made them equal to common men.
