AGARTALA, Feb 12 (TIWN): The construction work of the first ever flyover of Tripura has gained momentum as the work has began in full swing at all the spots.Looking forward to complete the fly over construction in the given deadline, the work is progressing in full swing. However, with the completion of the basement work at Battala the work is extended towards bordowali. Heavy equipments and machineries are piled up at the spot to carry out the pillaring work at Bordowali followed by the other works at the same spot. The pilling work for the construction of fly over at Bordowali has begun in full swing. Although the construction work is underway at several spots but however, the agency has now also began with the work at Melarmath. It is to be mentioned here that one part of the flyover will end at Melarmath and the other will end at Firebrigade chowmuhani. The suddenly gained progress in the work culture shows that the agency is now worried to finish the work in the given deadline.

After the successful report of the soil test and load test at Battala, cement casting for the pillar is going on in full swing at Bordowali. With the aim to meet the deadline for completing the fly over construction work is going on in speedy way.

Iron frame structure for pillars is already set up with the help of steel and iron bars and cement concrete. With the ongoing days, it is seen that the work progress has gone down and there is no much development in the work.

A total of 65 pillars will be constructed for the first ever fly over which will connect from Drop gate to fire brigade chowmuhani.

The flyover was a long term demand of the city dwellers and it needs to be introduced soon to contain heavy traffic congestion which is increasing along with the moving hands of the clock.

Once fly over is constructed, vehicles from the Nagerjala bus stand will continue to ply on the same path which is expected to reduced the traffic congestion.

According to the section of city dwellers fly over bridge, would be blessing for the people living in Agartala city, as the pupils can never be on time in their office or school due to the tremendous traffic issue. Mainly the Battala station, which have junction of more than four roads passing and connecting to a single road have been causing the maximum traffic jam.

The main motive of creating the Fly-Over Bridge is to seek solution to hectic traffic jam at Battala. As day by day the population and the number of vehicles are increasing, the problems arise in traffic system too.
