Santa Saha murder case:  police nabbed four culprits, produced before the court

AGARTALA, Oct 6 (TIWN): Almost after 2 months of sensational murder case of 50 years old Santa Saha on August 17, West and East police finally on Monday late night arrested the two accused sons: elder son Dipanjoy Saha and younger son Bitanjoy Saha in allegation of killing their own mother and produced before the court on Tuesday.However, after interrogating with the two accused son, elder son Dipanjoy Saha and older son Bitanjoy Saha, police found a new twist in the incident. Acting on the tip of interrogation with both the son, East-West-NCC police also arrested the two other wanted mafia’s Ranabir Lodh and Krishna Dey from 79 tilla area and Shyamali Bazar area in allegation of having deep hand in the murder case. After two months of so called investigation, state police on Monday late night arrested 4 culprits in allegation of deep involvement behind the sensational murder case of a 50 year old house wife Santa Saha in her own quarter complex at Shyamali Bazar allegedly by her own sons and also other miscreants on August 17.After arresting all the accused, the accused were sent to police lock up at A.D.Nagar police station, East, West and NCC police station.It seems like the sensational and mysterious murder case of the Santa Saha will also bring out few other twist in the murder case.However, all the accused are produced before the court on Tuesday.After months of investigation police has finally cracked the case of the sensational murder case of Santa Saha and police is also claiming that new more twist also may come out after interrogation.The ever puffed police of CM Manik Sarkar have finally dragged out a clue about the miscreants who carried out this heinous crime in the broad day light in the so called safe zone of the city.

It is to be mentioned here that though, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on September 8 visited the house of Santa Saha in search of clues to crack the mystery behind the murder of 50 years old Santa Saha in her own residence at Shyamali Bazaar quarter complex onAugust 17 but that time they could not trace any clue from there. However, after months of investigation police has finally nabbed four culprits related to the murder case.

Reportedly, the incident took place at 11 in the morning when all the family members of the deceased were out of the house and she was alone at her home. Taking the advantage of the empty house the miscreants and the hooligans thronged into her room and attacked her with sharp weapon. The miscreants attacked her brutally with a sharp weapon and left her dead on the spot.

Multiple injuries from sharp weapon were found in her body and was left dead in her own house.

Getting alarm, the police of New Capital Complex (NCC) police station reached the spot with dog squad and forensic team and started investigation.

She was brutally stabbed with sharp knife and had received grievous in her body, said police.

Police is further investigating the case.
