AGARTALA / UDAIPUR, August 27 (TIWN): Vaccination to the new born babies to be started soon at Gomati Dist. from the month of October, said Gomati Dist Health officials.

The name of the vaccine is IPV  (Inactive Polio Virus Vexin). Another vexin with it will also be provided namely Pentavalent Vexin.

The children who will be injected from the day of birth will be given this Pentavalent Vaccine

So these IPV and Pentavalent Vexin both will be given from the following months with the concern of the doctor. However this of vexination will come under the program which will be initiated at all the states of India.

A program has been held as a part of initiative on Thursday. DHO Jitu Das, Dr. Kalyan Roy, Dr. Abhijit Dutta were presented.

During the program they said that the vaccination program will be started soon. However the particular month or date had not clearly mentioned.

The first dose will be given at the 6 weeks of the child’s age, the 2nd will be given at the 10 weeks of age and the 3rd will be at 14 weeks of age.

However it’s to be very important to maintain this timing of vexination as vaccines are recommended for very young children because their immune systems are not yet fully mature and also because their stomachs produce less acid, making it easier for ingested bacteria and viruses to multiply. These factors leave them the most vulnerable to the devastating effects of these serious diseases.
