AGARTALA, February 28 (TIWN): Manik Sarkar is yet to recover from the illusion of corrupt and fake Marxist officer Bimal Chakraborty who has looted out more than Rs 50 Cr fund of MGNREGA and it once again proved from his action.Manik’s close association with Chakraborty family exposed when Science and Technology Dept invited Bimal’s elder brother Shyamal Chakraborty branded as ‘Science Writer’ as keynote speaker at National Science Day celebration on Saturday in Agartala.Manik’s close aide and shallow brain scientist who elevated his post as Principal Scientist in Science and Technology Council by his own recommendation and dedicated to promote Shyamal Chakraborty with public money invited Shyamal this time too despite serious objection in the department itself.According to report, the council has been sponsoring Shymal to and from Kolkata at least five times in a year whenever he needs to visit Agartala for family business. The council which does not have any tangible task other than “Marxist socialization” (to promote useless, corrupt and worthless individual to project somebody in grater forum in future) of Shyamal Chakraborty has become a frontal organization of CPI-M party.

The self-designated Principal Scientist is managing the Science page in CPM’s mouthpiece on regular basis for self-interest has made the department for propagation of corrupt Marxist.

India and Northeast region doesn’t have dearth of science writers and activists and better personality than Shyamal Chakraborty whose exposure is limited to Calcutta University Chemistry laboratory, Science and Technology department of Manik Sarkar always promote him at the cost of public money for narrow political interest.

Whenever the issue of Science Day celebration or anti-superstition lecture program in Tripura or science popularization program in Tripura, always the department sponsor Shyamal to achieve personal mileage to come closure to Manik Sarkar.

This time when Bimal is in jail, there was strong opposition in the department to skip Shyamal’s appearance in National Science Day program but the opportunist self-designated Scientist called him.

Over fascination to under qualified and back bencher scientist like Shyamal Chakraborty has given the opportunity to some under qualified individual to get closure to Manik Sarkar. Because Sarkar has soft-corner towards Bimal’s family.

Even after five months of sending Bimal in jail, Manik is still retaining Bimal's brother Amal Chakraborty in DYFI Secretary to offering him scope to influence the system to bail out scam master Bimal. Apart from that Manik Sarkar appointed Bimal's another brother Kamal Chakraborty as SP Security to look after Chief Minister's security.

In the assembly also Manik Sarkar skillfully sent the University bill to select committee out of love towards Chakraborty family. Because Manik did not want to be face criticism by putting Shyamal as VC and Science and Technology self-designated scientist as Register at this stage. He wants a hailing period.

By inviting him in National Science Day celebration team Manik wants to console Shyamal that they did not forget him. However, it has evoked serious reactions among the science activists of Tripura.
