AGARTALA, Oct 1 (TIWN): Non-teaching workers of Sarva Shiksha and State Secondary Education again started agitation demanding regularization. They have been working in different blocks and districts of the state for the past 17 years but it is alleged that salaries are not paid properly. The deprived Non-teaching staff placed deputation to the director of education Department.
Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Kalyan Association president Monalisa Das and secretary Karthik Dutta led the deputation program on Friday. They claim that no one has been regularized even though they have been employed in Sarva Siksha for the past 17 years and noticing Govt’s negligence towards them, most of them trying to shift to alternate options.
They demanded to increase the salary of the non-teaching employees of the entire education system. Along with this, the salary has to be revised as an annual increment (3 percentage points) up to 2017.
Basically, the Non-teaching staff have raised the demand that the salary structure is being revised.
