AGARTALA, Jan 19 (TIWN): E-Rickshaw Driver left Devastated as his E-Rickshaw was stolen from GB hospitalQuestions were raised over the security of the GB hospital after an E-Rickshaw was stolen from the hospital.
The E-Rickshaw driver named Litan Sarkar, resident of Joynagar Dashamighat area keeping his E-Rickshaw in front of the Boys Hostel went to GB Hospital on Wednesday for COVID test along with his family members. After returning from GB Hospital he found his E-Rickshaw was missing from the spot where he kept his E-Rickshaw. He lodged a complaint in the GB outpost.
Later locals told him that an E-Rickshaw was seen in a nearby bush. After going there, he found his Rickshaw but it was in pathetic condition. The rickshaw was damaged as the thieves tried to take away the battery.
The E-Rickshaw driver said before media that the thieves stole the battery, besides his E-Rickshaw was damaged. It is known the thieves tried to steal but after a private GB security guard noticed it, the thieves could not steal it.
