AGARTALA, June 15 (TIWN): Under the BJP Govt, it is not the first that mob turned violent over power-cut issues. Amid various similar reports in the recent time, a power office (Call centre) at Maharani (area at the outskirts of Udaipur) was vandalized on Sunday night and today Udaipur 132 KV Sub-Station at Bondowar was gheraoed. Centering Maharani Call Centre's incident, an FIR has been lodged in the local police station. Reportedly, after complaining multiple times, no solution came to the problems of the common men there in Udaipur. The local women at last today gheraoed the sub-station at the Bondowar area. For two hours, the DGM Office was kept gheraoed but no assurance was given to the protesters which turned the situation more tensed.Also, when low-voltage has been a problem in the Bondowar area, fire sparking out in electric lines very often.

To fix all the problems, local people urged the office many times but it is also true that no solution was given to the locality ultimately resulting in summer, old people and children are the worst sufferer. Power related issues also disrupt water-supplies and normal, daily needs of the people.

On the other side DGM Mihir Debbarma clearly said that there is no power related issue in the area and issues are under solution. Heavy argument erupted today between protestors and the DGM as DGM was unwilling to accept that any power cut for long 5 days happened there.
