AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb's misuse of Govt funds, frequent use of public taxes for personal works and family expenses are going on shamelessly. From marriage party to birthday celebrations, nothing is left where misuse of funds were not observed in last 3 years. Today also, to join in a marriage programme of a BJP MLA S. Das, Deb is using helicopter. Breaking all shames and minimum self-respect, Biplab Deb has used public taxes for his dog's flight fares, which are open-corruption under count. Renovation of Chief Minister's quarter in 2018 at crores of expenditure has been recorded as one of the biggest "scam" under Biplab Deb's rule in Tripura. It has been revealed by a senior Congress leader that Biplab Deb used over fifty four thousand for his dog's flight fare for Agartala-Delhi distance and more for his son's bike transport cost.

Earlier also, allegation raised against Deb for using helicopter for joining party rally drawing Govt fund and wasting lakhs and lakhs in renovation of CM's quarter which he has converted into a 5 star hotel like. Addressing about the issue, Congress leader Gopal Roy said, "On 8th February, 54,918 rupees had been paid for CM Biplab Deb's pet's flight fare from Agartala to Delhi". 

In 2019, Biplab Deb spent Rs. 6 lakhs on helicopter ride in Kali puja, Secretariat denied to clear bill.   "Moreover, for his son's bike transportation 4,644 rupees was paid on 18th February. How can a Chief Minister use public taxes from Govt fund ? The matter should be investigated", Roy added.  Similar controversies have been faced by the Chief Minister many times and in compare to the previous CMs in Tripura, Biplab Deb's expenditure is ten times more from security to luxury.
