AGARTALA, Jan 12 (TIWN): 10323 Teachers 'Joint Movement Committee' on Tuesday has announced after holding a crucial meeting with Education Director U.K.Chakma that their questions to be answered tomorrow by the Education Secretary but if the mentioned official fails to address the teachers then the whole crowd of the JMC to march towards CM's residence for clarifications tomorrow. In a press meet, the teachers have said so. Meanwhile, the teachers said that they will meet the chief minister soon to ask him why he made the false promise in October 2020 to solve their problem within two months after the teacher pointed out about these legal errors and now when the teachers are spending days and nights on road for 37 days, and the death toll raised to 81, why is he playing a mute role ? Joint Movement Committee said that they are hopeful about tomorrow's meeting with the Secretary. 'Joint Movement Committee' of the 10323 teachers have met the Education Director today seeking replies of various legal questions. The teachers are expecting a reply from the Education Director with a serious outlook.

Talking to the media at the Education Office, teacher Bijoy Krishna Saha has said, "We need some clarifications and if the Director can not clarify our queries, then he has to withdraw our terminations. We will not withdraw our protest until we are answered about these questions".

One of the complaints the teachers always had, has been put on that memorandum that is how without notifying the respondents, the case could continue ? Where our name or 10323 number were scripted in the verdict. There are many more such complicated questions which were raised in that memorandum.

Teachers already mentioned that only 462 persons were subjected in the legal procedure. Moreover, one more group that is science teachers total 962 are still in jobs although they were included in the case and their jobs were too given without TET examinations.

On yesterday, Teachers' Joint Movement Committee's (JMC) Joint Convener Ajay Debbarma has cited legal errors in petitions filed in 2010 and various false statements which were allegedly submitted before Tripura High Court, but the then Govt could not identify those errors and thus the whole matter messed up with legal errors. Explaining the legal errors, JMC Joint Convener Ajay Debbarma said, "Under WPC 208/2010 case, maximum seats were under ST posts which were challenged by SC or UR jo aspirants at maximum. Papri Debbarma was selected from ST candidate but she was challenged by other categories of people which was totally unconstitutional but the then Govt did not do proper scrutiny of it. In the same way in another case 281/2010, two ST candidates were challenged by general and SC candidates. The ST teachers were : 1) Ram Charan Rupini (Teliamura), 2) Sahadeb Debbarma (Teliamura). If Tripura Govt could challenge on that time, then many people's jobs could be saved on that time". "Moreover, right now there are 37 persons who are in jobs after challenging those jobs", he said.

"In the submitted affidavits against 620/2020 where 58 petitions were filed was also not properly explained. The last affidavit was submitted 5th June, 2021 and there 58 petitions were clubbed together and it was against 462 posts only. In those 58 petitions, against the 547/2012 case joined the science teachers. But Tripura Govt tried to create an impression in the court that only 4 teachers were recruited in 2012 under science which is not true. Total 1000 posts were released and 962 teachers had joined from science", he added.

"TET was made compulsory from 2010 but Tripura Govt before recruiting science teachers sought relaxation for TET examination, qualifications from the Central Govt but Central Govt only relaxed only for the professional degrees not for TET examination, although the science teachers were recruited without TET", said Ajay Debbarma citing that the former and the present Govt gave wrong information to the Court.  After placing his points, Ajay Debbarma has requested the present BJP Govt rectify those errors and to fix the complications which will secure many of the 10323 teachers jobs.

JMC's protest has fallen on Day 37, marking 5 weeks with slogans of 'No Justice, No rest'.
