AGARTALA, Nov 18 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb's insecurity over resented MLAs group against him is bare now in his frustrating speeches. While addressing in Mohila Morcha programme, CM Biplab Deb said that when all Soytans (Evils) are united, it proves that the Raja (King) is in the correct direction. The statement came amid 28 MLAs are now against CM Biplab Deb and want a change of the CM. Addressing in the programme, Deb claimed that only in 2 and half years (When he was the President of BJP in Tripura), the party was strengthened. He has claimed that all the CPI-M leaders were jobless and the only profession for them was doing politics whereas in BJP, everyone is well settled professionally. Giving his own example Deb said that now that he has became the CM, he gets salary from the government and his wife is also a government employee.

"All the CPI-M leaders used to earn their bread and butter through fundraising as none of them had any other sources to income. The communists were gold diggers as they were jobless and doing politics was their only job. But if you look at BJP, our district president Alak Bhattacharjee is a professor and he gets money for that, our Mandal president is a contractor and I, Biplab Deb, now get salary from the government after becoming CM and my wife is also a government employee," said the CM.

He also added, "Those who are shouting now against us they will be vanished by 2023. This government came to give employment to the youths, not to give earning sources to the party workers."

Although, the statement came when Tripura again topped among the North Eastern States with 17.4% unemployment rate according to CMIE data, when the promise of 50,000 jobs in first year of the Government mentioned in Vision Document remained in the words only and couldn't be seen in action, even after two and half years of the government. ?
