AGARTALA, Sep 20 (TIWN): Congress Party has geared up for August 21 (Monday) strike. As BJP, BMS started creating problems centering the strike, Congress State President Pijush Biswas has said that Congress youths are also ready to tackle the situation. "There is no doubt that COVID situation has hit the state but people's problems, economic distress, hospitals' conditions, price hikes, attacks on public, unemployment issues are important to be raised", said Biswas. "Public are in support of this strike and they all want to raise their voice against the misruling of the BJP. We wanted to meet CM with various issues but unfortunately, he did not meet us and thus being bound we have decided to go for the strike. We call people to support the strike", said Biswas. He also condemned ruling party led attempt of suppress the opposition voices and how BMS is using microphones giving warning against the strike.
